  • Another Thoughtful Update from North Carolina

    2024-10-15

No, not another breathless report on the iniquities of FEMA or the exposure of hidden tunnels now filled with water and other debris, but an uplifting soliloquy on the meaning and practicality of the spirit that once animated America, from Britain's very own Martin Geddes.

By sharing his journey of practical spiritual discovery amid the current turmoil, he continues to bless us all.

  • Lies, Damned Lies, Statistics, and Economic Indicators

    2024-10-13

Fortune and Freedom remind us just how measures of economic progress (yes, progress can be negative!) may be misleading us.

Should such measures be regarded as information, misinformation, disinformation, malinformation, or something else?

I suggest pseudoinformation... but feel free to send in your suggestions "on a postcard to the usual address" (or use our "Email Us" feature).

Fortune and Freedom spills the beans.

  • A Quick Swerve to Pick up some Entertainment

    2024-10-10

As, apart from rather odd hurricanes and a paucity of anything much that is both new and reasonably reportable (without shredding one's credibility too disastrously), I take the  opportunity to highlight some well-deserved fun at the expense of today's media in general, by bringing you this entertaining piece from the Daily Sceptic, without further comment.

  • Freedom is Just Another Word for "Nothing Left to Lose"

    2024-10-09

This may become a historical "document for our times" - it reflects experiences akin to riding an emotional roller-coaster, which for some lucky ones covered just a few recent years; for others, many more years, years of apparent hopelessness in a seemingly futile quest for the means to overturn the governments of "mental occupation" ("govern"=control, "ment"=mind).

When everyone is distracted by the football, the rugby, the juggling of the needs of family against the needs of one or several jobs, the allure of the get-rich-quick schemes, TV,  social media (and worse), "pop" concerts and innumerable events of all kinds...

When everyone is fed the continuous propaganda of the hidden hands that manipulate the politicians of the world, by the media that report only what those manipulators want us to believe, and suppress the truths that they don't want us even to suspect

  • Trigger Warning: This Article is Certain to Upset Everybody!

    2024-10-01

    Has Clif High finally flipped?

Or is he onto something, or things, of which we should be aware?

From a whistle-blower from the Council of Nicea (we probably just lost half of you right there!) through religions of the past and the would-be religions of the future, the collapse of current world financial systems and the ensuing crisis of governance as we know it, not to mention the ETs and those who may or may not currently inhabit "our" moon, this tour de force from Clif covers his expectations over approximately the next six months or so. Notwithstanding all that, it seems certain that we will not have seen such times before.

Well, I have the greatest respect for Clif, but as he would I'm sure acknowledge, none of us have a monopoly on the truth. It's just that Clif's grasp of matters existential seems to me to be several notches up from anyone else of whom I know. And believe it or not, he always seems to have evidence / personal experience to back up

  • Bring Back the Trial of the Pyx!

    2024-09-28

Some of the old customs and traditions are definitely the best!

But somehow, some of them have been debased by... well, I don't know, perhaps as much or more as our Pound Sterling.

One pound sterling (originally one troy pound of sterling silver) is now worth almost as much as two thirds of a bar of chocolate.

Yet the cheapest 1oz silver bullion coin available from the Royal Mint this morning costs just a few pence more than £28. Given that there are ten troy oz in one troy pound, the original pound of sterling silver should be enough for around 420 bars of chocolate.

The "Trial of the Pyx" may be old-fashioned, but in my book it's high time it was updated and reinstated for modern circumstances...

  • Are We to be Mugged by a Word Salad?

    2024-09-21

Well, time is fast running out... before the United Nations agrees its new "Pact For the Future"!

Of course one might argue (many would and do) that the world is in a parlous state exactly because the UN hasn't managed to sufficiently control things in the period leading up to this moment, but don't worry, it's nothing that handing ever more powers to the good folk at the UN wouldn't resolve, as they would then be able to be properly bossy and everyone would have have to tow their line, whereas up until now their powers have been too easy to circumvent.

It's the usual storyline: It's not our leadership that's at fault, it's all because these countries simply won't do as they are told! So "countries" are outdated and must be abolished and we, as the New World Order, must be given plenipotentiary powers... or something like that.

You can find out (if you have a spare lifetime to investigate, decipher the blurb, and wade through

  • MH370 Mystery - What Happened?

    2024-09-17

Malaysian Airlines MH370 disappeared on a routine flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in March 2014.

It was never found (officially) and it's disappearance has never been satisfactorily explained. But there are many features about this event that some think indicated some level of official collusion.

Amateur sleuth Ashton Forbes has since picked through all the many items of evidence and assembled a reasonable theory about what happened... reasonable that is until you see his extraordinary presentation.

Are you sitting comfortably? I doubt you will be after viewing this.

  • The Time Before the Moon ...

    2024-09-12

There's a whole raft of contentious assertions here, but my purpose is not to say "Believe!" but rather to say: "Question everything!".

Michael Tellinger is no intellectual slouch and has investigated many geographical features found in South Africa, so I respect his opinions - that's not to say that he is invariably right, and I don't think he has been to the moon to check it out at first-hand.

What is the moon anyway? What do we really know about it?

  • "Be Still, and Know that I am God"

    2024-09-10

The quotation is taken from Psalm 46, but here it seems quite apt as Clif High takes it upon himself to explain the basic art and technique of meditation.

What is the purpose of meditation and whither does (or should) it take us?

Is it the same as prayer?

As one who doesn't consider himself at all well versed in the topic, I will not comment further, except to say that as I sat down at the keyboard to tap up this article, the title simply sprang unbidden into my mind... make of that what you will.

    Something not to mediate on.

  • The Intersection of Law, Statute, and Spirituality

    2024-09-05

The title presupposes that such an intersection exists, but of course this is arguable.

Nevertheless this is one hour of Martin Geddes explaining himself on this topic - and who better to attempt the feat than one who surprised himself by discovering spirituality in the midst of his self-imposed legal adventures?

  • What Is AI?

    2024-09-04

AI is a marvellous tool with many uses, but especially perhaps at this time for the high-level scammers in our world - how so?

Almost nobody (yet) understands how it works!

So we are all fodder for the scam-artists who want us to believe that AI will "rule the world", "take over all our jobs", "always win on the battlefield" (except maybe against another AI!), be all-knowing, etc etc.

So "is AI really omnipotent and can it replace human beings" is a potentially existential question for us.

That AI has its uses is incontrovertible - that it could completely replicate the functionality of a human being is unproven as yet. Some

  • Down the Rabbit Hole and into our Fake History?

    2024-09-01

It seems preposterous that all the ancient history we have been told is fake - but it also seemed preposterous that PolPotshould murder all Cambodia's intelligentsia, that Big Pharma's jabs should be anything other than "safe and effective" for our health instead of "safe and effective" for some other undisclosed set of criteria, that our "democratically elected" government should serve vested interests first and foremost and their electorate last.

So preposterousness is evidently no bar to fakery.

The usual "down the rabbit hole" advice applies.

This is one of those stories that you are either ready for, or not.

I strongly suggest that those new to my site should review the earlier Down the Rabbit Hole series, starting with 1

  • Into Deeper Waters on Skye

Martin Geddes is no stranger to entanglements with the law.

It being summer and relatively benign up there (I'm guessing here - it could have been tipping it down, but he doesn't mention that) he has taken a short retreat from the hurly-burly confusion of life in general, in order to sort out the next stage of his spiritual journey, upon which he (I suspect unintentionally) found himself when analysing the logic of his brushes with the judicial system.

Spirituality is not an optional extra in life, it is just that we have to find it for ourselves, and having found it, take our spiritual understanding and advancement upon ourselves.

But what does it have to do with the law?

  • Twas Ever Thus ...

    2024-08-26

Yes, it's back to Plato's "Republic", and how the elites have conspired to rule over the plebs of humanity since maybe the very dawn of time...

It's a little slow, but at a speed that hopefully allows those unfamiliar with the concepts to keep up.

No need to fear going to sleep either - there is a rather annoying and otherwise unnecessarily loud drum beat now and then, just to ensure your wakefulness...

So sit back, relax, ignore the annoying uncoordinated visuals (whilst they last - you can pay attention later when they become more informative), and follow the Guardians...
