RIP WHO - Long Live the CDC?
2025-03-28
Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
Interest of Justice reviews America's withdrawal from the WHO, apparently only to set up the CDC under RFK Jr as a similarly unaccountable and dictatorial authority.
Given that our own medical regulators "always" take their lead from the US authorities, this affects the UK and elsewhere just as much as it affects America.
"The newly restructured CDC - which today became the US official pandemic authority - raises profound questions"

May the Farce be With You!

In my youth the public utilities were always a byword for inefficiency. Some think that they still are, and not only for inefficiency.

The Aliens are Coming ...
2025-03-18
But don't panic, they are almost certainly already here, and so are we still, so it's unlikely that they mean us any harm provided that we don't mean them any harm.
But that's not to say that introductions might not be in order... at some point. Good neighbourliness is important, but maybe we can prioritise to sort out our world's governments first before we light the blue touch paper on this one.
Dr Steven Greer has made quite a career out of putting together all the evidence he can find about the US government's involvement in matters "alien" / unexplained, in fact he is probably one of the most diligent and reasonable researchers in the field.
So allow us to introduce Dr Greer's latest release - the Disclosure Project Briefing Document - a cool three hundred pager also now "available in hard cover and in paperback".

All Eyes on Romania
2025-03-10
Romania, having annulled the election of Calin Georgescu on the grounds of (wait for it) "suspicions of Russian meddling", has now banned him from standing in the May election.
Yet another country that cannot trust its own people to elect the right politicians. Or rmaybe the left politicians. It's all very confusing...

Hello Citizens!
2025-03-10
An interesting little video has appeared, which purports to get to the bottom of the legal status of those who inhabit the British Isles, and it raises some interesting points. It may also validate the naming of this site!
After watching, we may remind ourselves that the US Military is sworn specifically to defend the Constitution of the United States (from enemies external and internal!). They were way ahead of us back in 1788 (or thereabouts - I'm not sure exactly when the military adopted their specific oath, but presumably it was after the Constitution was ratified).
Specific allegiances may appear arcane but are hugely important - they involve trust, and they can tell us whom we should be able and/or willing to trust.
(Disclaimer - I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice)

In Review of How We Came Here
2025-03-04
For those with short memories, and those who simply were not yet here, this article covers the salient historical points from the latter parts of the 20th Century onward, from the perspective of an American. Necessarily it leaves out a vast amount which may never be known.
Some may believe that the Trump phenomenon is the fight-back against the endemic corruption described, some fear that Trump is simply the latest in a long line of "controlled opposition". I can't help you with that one, we will have to see how matters play out.
"By their fruits shall you know them"
What is undeniable is the role that Israel has historically played in US politics, and quite likely in the politics of other nations including our own - after all, the State of Israel was originally promoted in the UK's Balfour declaration after WW1.

Next Up: Nuclear Disarmament?!
2025-03-02
Scott Ritter - give him an inch and he'll take a mile!
Peace in the Ukraine is only just beginning to be talked about, and here he is thinking about the real need to phase out mankind's ability to self-immolate through nuclear war.
Probably not a moment too soon if you ask me. The world needs people like Scott who not only have the foresight to identify a path forward, but also have the experience to assess the pitfalls and map out how best to do it. Sadly they are becoming thin on the ground, so the sooner the process can be mapped out, the better for all concerned.

Black Gold to Stage a Rebound?
2025-03-01
With "renewables" leading to ever higher energy costs, nuclear still regarded with some suspicion (and SMRs not yet rolling off the production lines in volume), government-backed mega power-stations seemingly permanently mired in the paralysis of analysis and the perils of politicking, and of course fracking being sent packing, some think that old king coal is poised to make a come-back.
Yes, there are obvious problems with that, but there's problems with everything just now - and just how are all these wonderful new but power-gobbling AI data-centres going to be powered?
"It's a massive coal boom in China ... "

When AI Meets ETs - What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
2025-02-27
The Glastonbury Symposium is not exactly a mainstream source of topical wisdom - it is however a good venue for challenging one's "little grey cells" to take a hard look at what may be coming right around the next corner.
Andy Thomas, long-time power behind the Symposium, presents another keynote address, providing a critical discussion of the issues of the day (this was July 2024).
Not to mention a possibly terrifying view of the incoming future...
He covers a lot of ground.
"... you can't trust anything any more..."
"... any advanced civilisation that has managed to reachspace and is visiting here in their craft must surely have gone through the AI revolution ... therefore..."
Watch to the end. It's your view that counts.

Right on Q, AI Reviews the "QANON" Phenomenon
2025-02-24
"The original Q operation was a military intelligence drop system, designed to encourage independent research and public awareness of corruption"
The gauntlet dropped by Q was picked up by amateur sleuths everywhere.
"The “QAnon” label became a catch-all smear—any discussion of government corruption, human trafficking, or elite criminal networks could now be dismissed as “QAnon conspiracy theories"
... but only by the gullible. The amateur sleuths continued regardless and brought us to where we are today.

Our World in Revolution - Fulford Report - Monday 24 Feb 2025
2025-02-24
Ben Fulford - still happily with us despite being turfed out of his rented accommodation last week - has somehow managed to post his weekly report as normal.
Normal however is perhaps not the best word to choose to describe the state of the world that he describes this week.
With the ancien régime facing collapse on multiple fronts due to extreme loss of (illegal) funding from their financial sources in the US, we can expect tantrums...

Be Ye Never So High, The Law is Above You
2025-02-16
Martin Geddes is now making so much use of AI that his productivity of articles is hard to keep up with!
Whether or not this particular article was AI-enabled, it is admirably laid out and clearly explains the precise alleged infractions of the law that pertain to the way that the case against him has been handled.
Now one might think that this is in point of fact a pretty trivial case, so pay up shut up and get on with life - but that isn't so. If the police themselves are not operating lawfully then that really is a very serious issue, and they need to be taken to task.
Martin has documented the whole argument very thoroughly and provided copy of his responses - I don't doubt that anybody in similar

DOGE to Chase Exploding Gains
2025-02-12
Elon Musk's DOGE is showing how to deal with those on the take.
As part of its investigations into Government Efficiency it will investigate those who have somehow appeared to acquire huge wealth despite being on salaries that could not have produced such wealth.
Now it's quite possible these days to buy and sell crypto (Bitcoin for example) at precisely the right time, and make a fortune, but it's not exactly commonplace.
So employees of agencies which misspent government funds, and who appear to have acquired wealth beyond scope of salary, would, bearing in mind the public interest, seem to have little potential for any automatic benefit of the doubt, and should be nicely asked to account for their good fortune. As always, they do not have to comply with a polite request if they do not so wish, but those who have good explanations could set the investigators minds at rest. The burden of proof still rests with any potential

And We Thought America Was Bad
2025-02-11
Whilst America is having its Trump-Musk moment, with consequences that we await as they turn out, Americans are apparently now joined by hysteria against the "Far Right" in Germany, where the Left seems to be paranoid about the AfD and other dreadful right-wing (erstwhile centre-right) parties gaining enough ground to push the sainted Left to the sidelines.
That of course is seen as a totally undemocratic outcome.
"Over half of all Germans now find themselves on “the right” and urgently require democratic reeducation"
By this account half the country is on the streets protesting against the popular mood... how that works is neither obvious nor likely legal.
"All of the absurdities of the past twenty years will begin to crumble as parliamentary majorities can no longer be found to support them"

David Starkey Analyses the State of Britain Today
2025-02-11
"Here is a man who has never read anything apart from a legal textbook, and an Arsenal Programme"
This may start a bit slowly, but David Starkey makes an interesting and perceptive analysis of our current state/State, and clearly puts across the value of our (now neglected) historical heritage - we don't know what we have until it's been lost.
"... we f****ed up partly because we became 'experts'... "
Expertise in a narrow field is no substitute for breadth of knowledge and experience.
He gives us much to think about, and in the process, helps us realise that what we as a society now lack is the influential wisdom of experienced and knowledgeable elders - we no longer value the depth of understanding that such aldermen (using the word in its historical sense) should bring to our new and upcoming
