When we can't heat our homes next winter because there is no electricity to heat the water or drive the heat pump or fire the gas/oil boiler, who will be blamed?

Colin Meade writing for the Daily Sceptic apparently seeks to perform some limited form of damage limitation on behalf of our miscreant "authorities".

His primary assertion - that the population brought the Covid measures on themselves -  the authorities merely pandered to their demands.

It's undeniably and unavoidably a long report this week.

The Elon-Trump situation is front and centre, but so is much else besides. The glaring omission is the mystery surrounding the status of President Xi JinPing of China.

It's rather a big hole in his discussion this week, since anything Xi agrees should be viewed with suspicion. Still, so should almost everything else in this report!

It's certainly a case of read it yourself and form your own opinions. My opinion? Israel and Ukraine are key, and very little is on their side.

In the 1800s the Highland Clearances of the crofters (to make way for more profitable sheep-farming) took place, leading to a forced exodus of crofters to the new world, or anywhere they could still scratch a living.

Today we face not the local threat that confronted the crofters, but compound global threats:

an employment threat - we will be displaced by AI from the work that we have traditionally undertaken - and

an entirely real threat from the fantasists who push the entirely false threat of climate doom from CO₂, and are intent on rewilding our food production streams (farms to you and me) that we need in order to eat.

This isn't about President Xi himself, but there are others who may be involved in this situation. It falls to General Xu Qiliang to provide today's subject-matter.

Why am I giving so much attention to the Chinese leadership situation? Because there is reason to believe that the Trump-Putin-Xi triumvirate is (or was!) central to the final defeat of the "deep state" globalists. Time will tell.

In any case China is (or was?) a major world power with a realistic ambition to replace the USA as "global leader", so best keep up to date.
