"DARVO: Deny Attack Reverse Victim and Offender"

Parliament

Well - if we don't like the government, we can vote them out of office - so it's our fault.

Well, no we can't. The candidates at election time are almost invariably selected by the political parties, and then controlled in how they vote by those same political parties. They are not our representatives, they are the political party's representatives.

And when all the political parties somehow support the nonsense (eg:"the green agenda" or "sustainable development") of the oligarchical would-be global government, how do we the electorate avoid these financial sink-holes?

Whilst independent candidates can and do stand, they cannot afford to match the spending of the political parties, who only let us vote so that they can blame us for the results ...

Are we being gaslit?

NHS

It's free (except when it's not).

It's beholden to the government (who appoint the regulatory authorities and pass laws to protect them from competition), not to us the customers.

The customers have become the supplicants. Good luck trying to get redress for inadequate care from any such agency.

The government determines who supplies these agencies and who can work for them.

The government controls (or neglects) whether they provide value for money or effective service.

We pay for it all via taxation regardless of usage, thus overall it is a long long way from being "free". Indeed, governments are notorious for "throwing money" at "our NHS" in futile attempts to improve its outcomes.

The Free Press and Media

Lots of choice here, but frantic attempts to control social media content through ill-defined labels such a "hate speech" and poorly-drafted laws through which financial penalties may be imposed on "social media" companies who permit "legal but hateful" content ...

Result: self-censorship.

So the government gets the censorship it wants but blames others for it.

One could go on (and on) and I'm sure there are plenty of other examples from public life which our readers may point up for themselves, but the principle is demonstrated.
