The Ultimate 'Down the Rabbit Hole'?2024-10-27 Before we begin, I offer the standard "Down the Rabbit Hole" introductory advice for those unfamiliar: I strongly suggest that those new to my site should review the earlier Down the Rabbit Hole series, starting with 1 2 3 and 4. That said, let's dive in. I hesitate to claim that this really is the "ultimate" in Rabbit Holes, but I don't know of, nor can I at present ...

A Short Historical Perspective on "They" - Matt Ehret2024-10-26 Matt Ehret, Canadian, historian, and all-round deep mine of all things historical, tells Dell Bigtree from whence he believes "they" (that rule the world) came, how they developed, and how they brought us in the western world, and in particular (but by no means only) America, to our current state of global crisis. If we would improve the world, we really need to get some understanding of the course of the last 500 years. This is a conflict that has been brewing for a long time. "... the idea of utilising finance for economic warfare does go back to the days of the Roman Empire as well... " (97 minutes)

Distract - Deflect - Cash In2024-10-24 Two examples arrive today of the way in which demand is drummed up for Big Pharma drugs. A) The Telegraph reports that the dastardly NHS is refusing to fund the latest "wonder drug" for Alzheimer's dementia. "Regulators have declared the new treatment for the disease safe for use but the rationing body has immediately ruled that it is too expensive for NHS patients" "Immediately"! The unfeeling apparatchiks! Still counting the pennies whilst we die a slow and highly undesirable death! Hope Emerges from the Chaos .. ?2024-10-23 Once again, humanity lives through extraordinary times - although this time, there are many for whom the extraordinary passed with the passing of the scamdemic, and for whom "normalcy" (we must thank our American cousins for that word!) has resumed. None the less, "normalcy" did not resume for those who recognised the enormity of the crime, and a global movement for the re-establishment of... well, definitely not the previous "normalcy", but the genuine freedom and justice that has been crushed by stealth over a long period, perhaps over centuries. For them, nothing but destruction of the control matrix and a new beginning founded upon the notion of free men and women, free to choose to contribute in whatever way best suits them and their society, will suffice. Brave new world indeed. ...

One UK embalmer's story here (slow to start but watch to the end) Conclusion: the idea that humanity has been under attack ...

UK - The Sick Man of the World?2024-10-21 This site does not do Party Politics - in fact, as regular readers may have noted, we would much rather undo party politics! Nevertheless we stray today perilously close to "left" vs "right" politics, although I would claim that in fact we are actually talking right vs wrong politics. We are interested in the politics that produces good results for the people, not the politics that produces good results for the vested interests of an ever-expanding civil service and an ever expanding government-at-arms-length which subcontracts all its activities to be implemented (and in practice largely controlled) by the "private sector" (ie: corporate interests of monopolistic tendencies) - and I won't even get started on monetary policy / central banking / planning obfuscation. Motivation is all! We need a system that sets up the correct motivation for each arm of our democratic system to serve the people in the most ...

The BRICS Summit, the Nov 5 election / not an election, Israel perhaps no longer pulling the strings of the world... "The times, they are a-changing"

But it is an entertaining article by Nick Hubble of Fortune and Freedom that may (or may not) provide pointers to the future of post-election America (always assuming there is any future for America post Nov 5 - BRICS and other world events may have an influence).

To Understand Our Modern World ...2024-10-21 ... we must understand propaganda - which essentially is the art of making people and populations wholeheartedly believe something that is absolutely not true, and indeed not in their interests. It is said that Hitler used propaganda extensively on the German people before and during the second world war, but in truth all wars depend upon propaganda, because fighting wars is not in our normal interests. It might be thought that all governments ("govern"=control, "ment"=mind) habitually use propaganda to maintain their power over their populations - true or not, certainly the temptation may be hard to resist! So here is a useful primer, courtesy of Citizens for Free Speech, which attempts to teach us how we might recognise propaganda in the first ...

Bitcoin ... or Something Else?2024-10-20 If you want an AI to take over the world... but you don't want to pay for it... how could you get the rest of the world to pay for it for you? Unknowingly? (53 minutes) Like / Dislike this video here. Of course this is simply a ridiculous conspiracy theory on steroids, but since "nobody knows" who Mr Satoshi (Bitcoin inventor) actually is or was, it does rather leave open the possibility that mining Bitcoin as an algorithm actually being run may just possibly perform a great deal more in practice than simply "mining Bitcoin". Who's to know? Therefore, tempting people to run ...

Who is to sort the truth from the onslaught of mis/dis/mal/duff/fake-information that assails us from all quarters - and has so done for far longer than any of us might care to contemplate? Even the sainted Julian Assange for Heaven's sake - is nobody above suspicion of complicity, or perhaps merely of galactic-scale misrepresentation? I think we could all usefully take heed to pick up a few tips and tricks from Ole the expert, who has made the study of fake news into a personal crusade of many years standing... and who still shares much of his insight to the world for free. Buckle up ...

Politician Says the Unthinkable!2024-10-17 A mainstream UK politician in the running for party leader: "... legally binding carbon budgets would have to be done away with" Oh my! How long have we waited for this statement of the obvious? To be frank, it's never been clear who would be sent to jail when inevitably the legal targets are not met, so the whole business of legally enforceable targets always was a theatrical pantomime - but then parliament has been a pantomime for a long time now, and especially since the infamous Brexit referendum. Welcome this straw of good sense whilst it lasts.

Thoughts on the American Election2024-10-17 As some of my readers will know, Martin Geddes is in America, this time in Tennessee at an election meeting. His reflections could well be similarly applicable in the UK, and I find it striking how in both countries, politics is in effect a weapon to promote division rather than a force for reconciliation cooperation and healing. The challenge is immense and the general understanding very sparse.

Oh Wait! - this tale does seem remarkably familiar, uncomfortably familiar, far too familiar for my liking. And much more complex and long-standing than we might naïvely suppose. And whilst I hesitate to say that it is accurate in all details, or even that it is totally authentic, it certainly sets up a lot of detail that has puzzled me, and seems in my judgement to be well within the bounds of plausibility. Yes, it's quite long, but encompasses a wealth of historical information right up to the present day. Recommended viewing - but as always, make of it what you will! (92 minutes)

By sharing his journey of practical spiritual discovery amid the current turmoil, he continues to bless us all.
