So if the people themselves are the government as this implies, what need we of a separate government?
If the people could keep order amongst themselves, why do we need to elect a government?
The true meaning of "anarchy" is "no government".
Not necessarily "no order".
It's an idea we must explore because such exploration would either confirm or deny our need for a government of people as opposed to government by the people themselves through local methods practices and/or institutions.
Given that almost nobody thinks our current system of central governments that naturally accrete all powers to themselves is at all satisfactory, and indeed seems to be approaching its final stages of corruption and decomposition, perhaps we should accord such an exploration a high level of priority.
