UK Parliament Doubles Down on Climate and Nature Bill?

Tomorrow is the second reading that the Green Blob hopes will send the Climate and Nature Bill speeding its way toward the Statute Book.
So what will it mean for the legendary man on the Clapham Omnibus?
" ... Parliament is due to vote on a Private Member’s Bill that could lead to mass starvation, widespread disease and fatalities and the almost certain collapse of civil liberties and society within a few years"
Is that all? And here I was thinking that it might be serious.
"The bill is a thinly-disguised attempt using meaningless climate and nature crisis verbosity to ration and control almost everything that citizens consume"
Well, my parents had to cope with rationing and much else in WW2 (and beyond), and we survived that ...
"It appears that a near 90% reduction in hydrocarbon use within a decade is sought and this would affect everything from the energy that heats homes and drives a modern economy to the medicines and food that sustains life"
Our food distribution chains are more or less totally dependent upon diesel lorries, so that explains one cause of rationing - it won't be physically possible to move more than 10% of the food that currently gets handled. Can we survive on eating one day out of 10? On the plus side it might make a dent in the obesity crisis.
"People would freeze in winter, there would be no food in the shops or medicines in the hospitals and pharmacies. There would be no power to run sewage treatment plants or hydrocarbon-based chemicals to clean the water. A complete breakdown of law and order would be likely as citizens survive as best they can"
Most of us rely on gas currently for our heating - even those with heat pumps need electricity to run them (currently dependent on gas because no matter how many windmills and solar panels are installed, no wind / no sunshine = no power), so perhaps we can only heat our homes and cook our meals on one day in ten (if the wind happens to blow on the right day)?
And no diesel = no ambulances, so the NHS will have 10% of its previous arrivals to A&E, which might alleviate the insane queuing and trolleying I suppose.
"The bill is short on figures ... "
You don't say!
"But this is not the end of the story since the bill mandates that an account must be taken of emissions released by all UK imports ... "
OK, I give in, this is madness; we get much of our imports from China, who are not going to restrain their fossil fuel consumption for anybody, and even if we do hit net zero (excluding imports) we could never make up for the carbon footprint of the Chinese imports that arrive even if we could measure them, so these objectives obviously cannot be physically implemented.
Maybe our MPs might glance surreptitiously across the Atlantic to see how our brethren of the "Special Relationship" will be holding up their end of the measures to confront the Climate Crisis?
The American Covid Inquiry

The continuing UK Covid Inquiry has been, some believe, just a gargantuan whitewash exercise in favour of the team that brought us the Covid "pandemic".
The US too has had its own version of the Covid Inquiry, so how does it fare by comparison? And does anybody care? Should anybody care?
In my view, yes we should, because right or wrong, it betrays much about current thinking and therefore likely future "pandemic" planning. Will such be based upon firmer ground than last time?
We on this site have made our views clear, that the whole operation was a simple scam based upon blatant manipulation of the statistics on a global scale, a manipulation designed to divert attribution of the normal seasonal winter deaths away from the normal flu-like and towards the SARS-Cov-2 Covid label; yet even so a scam so tricky that perhaps it threatened to expose another vastly greater scam, that in turn threatened the reputation and future of almost the entire medical-pharmaceutical-industrial-media complex.
Much has been made of the infamous "gain of function" research conducted over time at various locations world-wide under the alleged sponsorship of Dr Fauci. Yet when Covid struck in late 2019 and through 2020, the deaths from all causes barely registered any rise.
How so, when so many were "dying of/with covid"?
Well, most unusually, they were no longer "dying of flu". No surprise one might think, given the measures adopted to test for covid and attribute any subsequent death to covid simply on the basis of the test.
Excess deaths from all causes did start to rise in 2021, coincidentally with the roll-out of the jabs. A coincidence that it seems has never impinged upon the consciousness of our medical regulators, despite the obvious possibilities.
So a plausible hypothesis is that the illusion of a pandemic was perpetrated by simply changing the rules to attribute as many ordinary deaths as possible to the pandemic, and letting the media rip with incessant propaganda about covid deaths, and (when those naturally tailed off into the advancing summer) seguing shamelessly into reporting "cases" ie: positive test results in the asymptomatic population.
These were likely not cases at all, but a true measure of the level of false positive test results obtained by testing the largely healthy population.
If this argument holds water, then what are we to make of the good Dr Fauci's investments in illegal gain-of-function research? Surely the above argument must be false?
But maybe, just maybe, Dr Fauci was protecting a much bigger scam that would bring down the majority of the pharmaceutical industry were it to be exposed? What if (as Dr Mike Yeadon, an erstwhile vice-president of Pfizer UK, now proposes) the whole science of virology is the main scam that must at all costs be protected?
Has anybody yet shown that any alleged virus has ever been proven to cause a disease? It does seem that all FOIA requests for confirmation of an isolation of the SARS-Cov-2 virus (to pick a recent example of some importance) have failed to identify the existence any such sample.
Have the Americans had any better success with their "Covid Inquiry", or "Covid Select" as they call it?
Or were the so obsessed with investigating every possible detail that they failed to challenge the elephant in the room?

Who Are You?

Are you a living breathing human being, with family, friends, acquaintances, aspirations, skills, qualifications, life history, health issues, and opinions that have all been hard-come-by?
Or are you a 64-bit sequence of ones and zeroes on a computer database somewhere "in the cloud"?
Would you prefer to deal with another flesh and blood human being, capable of recognising you for what you are, and your circumstances for what they are, or should you just quote your id number to an AI system that has somebody else's values and objectives (not necessarily known to you) built into its code?
"The Open Society, the Gates Foundation, the Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations, they are in direct control of the UK"
The problems with government are actually many, but the primary problem is that they want to govern.
They are therefore always out to curtail our freedom of choice. They are also out to centralise all powers of curtailment to themselves - after all, decentralised powers are tricky to control centrally - hence the WEF-UN partnership. It doesn't get more centralised than that (not yet anyway ... ).
They will offer inducements to get us to agree to their plans, such as "safety", "convenience", maybe religion (what could possibly go wrong?), or protection from external forces (real and/or imagined) but we can summarise their faults quite readily:
- They are remote, preferably very remote - they don't want to talk to individuals.
- They operate according to defined sets of rules of/over which you have neither detailed knowledge nor practical influence nor even the time to read and comprehend them.
- They believe that their rules are as perfect as can be, and beyond reproach.
- Interpretation of those rules can now be more or less fully automated - so will be.
- Complaints will soon also be handled by AI, which will still be unable to step outside those rules .
- Computer says "no" will in practice be non-negotiable.
Because life is complex, and government is intent on governing, they now want to take the fateful step to record all our life's transactions and feed them into the AI so that they can control our future transactions according to our behaviours - and thus compel us to comply with their desires. Much of this information they already have via the banking system and legal registrations.
If our behaviours comply with all their expectations then our transactions will be permitted, otherwise they may be denied. The fact that we may need to cope with unexpected circumstances, or even unexpectedly decide to take a holiday, is quite possible - even likely - to throw the system; and the system will be designed to compel our compliance with their expectations.
Anybody that still believes that governments are inherently benevolent did not learn the lessons of Covid.
But there is one vital step that government must take in order to facilitate this level of control over us ...
