The fires of Maui have come to California. Published pictures allegedly (one can never be sure these days) show extensive areas burned-out.

There are reports that fires were set deliberately, starting up in several locations simultaneously.

Bur fire hydrants are dry - the fires cannot be fought. Unlucky? Or deliberate?

The similarities with Maui, whilst not exact, are clear, and no doubt as time passes we will see more clarity. One other thing is clear: in normal circumstances, a population burned out of house and home is effectively dispossessed and cannot fight back.

The recent report from Maui illustrates the point. When authorities remain tight-lipped and inaction rules, we are forced to ask what is going on.

FEMA is tasked to provide emergency relief in such situations, but reportedly did not fulfil that tasking in the recent Carolinas situations. One hopes that they will rise to the occasion in California, but that remains to be reported.

For sure, the global elite through their networks of non-governmental agencies, think tanks, climate catastrophising bodies etc etc are determined to subject us all to a New World Oder which nobody asked for, which excludes all notions of democratic accountability in favour of "stakeholder capitalism", and which will be ruled by technocratic experts who will naturally have only the best of intentions. 

But whither will they lead us? Whither are they leading us? Why should we comply?

With large areas now being destroyed, what will be built in their place? Who will build it? To whom will the builders be answerable? Will anything be built at all?

More urgently, where and when will support for the dispossessed be available?

Are these valid questions, or is it all just a silly misguided conspiracy theory?

The start of the new year has gone badly for the EU, but can anybody really maintain that this was unforeseen?

The gas supplies from Russia to Germany and by extension to the EU via the Ukraine has been turned off. It doesn't matter whom you blame for this, what matters is that this has turned off the EU's ability to maintain its (ever declining) standard of living.

Energy is the lifeblood of industry, and Germany's seemingly unstoppable post war industrialisation has suddenly - well, truly not so suddenly - ground to a deathly silence of shuttered factories and closed shops.

To say that this could not have been foreseen is risible - the war in the Ukraine (with Germany's largest supplier of low-cost energy!) was not exactly likely to turn in their favour when push came to shove. The writing has thus been on the wall since 2014, when the Ukrainian "Maidan revolution" (AKA CIA-inspired coup) took place. One can argue about the precise point in time, but that marked the beginning of the Ukrainian forces' assault on the ethnic Russian region of the DonBas - which successive versions of the Minsk Agreements (with involvement by EU/EU member states) failed to contain.

One can only conclude that Germany has been a NATO colony ever since NATO was founded, and no German politicians were capable of breaking that servitude, despite their post-war status as poster-boy for successful western manufacturing industry. They are now paying the price.

As is Japan, which post-war found itself in much the same situation as a colony of the US deep state.

As will we in the UK if we allow our politicians (AKA illegally indentured servants of the UK deep state) to continue to destroy our energy supply industries.

This is from the usually terminally tedious group now known as Promethean Action (you remember Prometheus of course?), who for some unaccountable reason now produce a video (or two!) that is not only useful, but tolerable for viewing by normal people.

(There's also a pre-Christmas video that is useful viewing).

And if you are wondering quite where Team Trump is going to take us, this is as good a place as any to start, as it highlights Britain, featuring as well Greenland and Canada, maybe also Panama and even Mexico ... the crumbling EU ... usw.

So you think you know your Trump?

Are you sure? 

You may not be so certain after watching this ...

This is a very hard-headed video that will almost certainly challenge anybody's understanding of world events of the past century or so. If you are not prepared for such a challenge, feel free to skip this one.

Bear in mind that many now believe that "everything we were told is a lie". You may or may not accept such a concept, but if you believe in the accepted version of history, the ending sequence of this video may not be for you.

For myself, I am prepared to accept any proposition that is supported by evidence and logic - this attitude does not preclude changing my mind about history, but does mean that I file away a great deal in the "too difficult to know" box, for possible re-evaluation should more information come to light.

Nevertheless this is primarily about the current state of the world, and I'm not prepared to discard the whole video just because I may (or may not) discount parts of it. Truth and untruths have a nasty habit of being interwoven, seemingly even to the point of interchangeability, these days.
