So You Think You Know Your AI?

AI has become a bit of a bogeyman, used to scare us all into thinking that we will soon be thrown on the scrap-heap of history when our jobs are taken by automation/artificial intelligence.
Is there any truth to this suggestion?
Or is it all a wild over-hyping that will fizzle out in the cold light of reality?
What is "intelligence" anyway?
Does it differ from wisdom?
What will we do if/when the mundane is covered by automation and we don't need "the daily round, the common task" in order to survive? The answer will depend upon who garners the fruits of its labours - will they be reserved for the elite of the WEF-UN partnership ("you will own nothing and be happy"), or will they be available for all humanity?
As always, innovation can be used for good and/or for bad purposes.

And this is Andy's presentation on AI from the recent Glastonbury Symposium. They don't usually release a public version on YouTube so early, so I guess this early release reflects the importance attached to this topic.

First up is a contribution from Martin Geddes that examines in some depth the Woke spirituality-free agenda that is being foisted on the public by an unempathetic agglomeration of globalist institutions whose primary objective seems to be to break down our spirituality (in so far as it already exists) to make way for the WEF's transhumanist agenda (21 2030 2050 or 20-whatever).
It's a long in-depth analysis that tackles the issues on a personal level that humans of all stripes and none can relate to, and indeed have been relating to over many years in a rather unstructured and ad hoc manner.
It sets the scene for my second article by Matt Goodwin, who comes from the party-political milieu that coincidentally he too finds to be failing, and indeed his argument and discussed solutions centre around traditional party-political notions, not as in left vs right but as in government by political party. Can the party system be made to work for the people?
So two contributions from opposite ends of the spectrum, that perhaps spans the range from a total clear-out of our existing political institutions to a minor remodelling - revolution or evolution.
It's good to see these arguments put forward, even if they are in many ways still poles apart - at some point we will have to decide What we will do with the old? What kind of new do we want? and How will we get from one to the other in some kind of not-too-disorderly manner?
These are all huge hurdles to overcome, and rather rashly I propose to proffer my thoughts on this.
The next UK general election is due by December 2024 at the latest (but could be earlier), so this inevitably colours our thinking.
What else should colour our thinking?
- The Covid experience was
- at best, a very ugly manifestation of supreme incompetence and group-think by our governing classes
- at middling, a high crime of massive proportions in attempting to administer an untested medical intervention of novel technology on all age groups of the population (even those at insignificant risk from the virus) regardless of the obvious risk and despite the impossibility of gaining informed consent in the absence of independent safety assessments (Nuremberg Code)
- at worst, a premeditated attempt at global genocide coordinated by the WHO
- In a functioning justice system, criminal charges would undoubtedly be brought under all of these options. The miscreants (and there are very many across all levels) must be brought to account before we can sensibly contemplate free and fair elections.
- The Covid Enquiry is too little and much too late - it presents as a cynical exercise in sweeping it all under the carpet until it can be conveniently forgotten.
- The media were complicit in all of the above and are now exposed as Orwell's Ministry of Truth. An election reported by such media cannot be free and fair.
Covid plus Woke plus WEF place-persons within our governing classes and media (and at the highest levels) amount to at least a national and possibly a global emergency.
So what to do?
Crime nbr 6029679/21 has already been lodged with the Met Police but has been rebuffed. This case must be heard in court in public with alacrity, and we the public must take whatever peaceful steps are available to us to ensure that it is.
Free and fair elections cannot be held until justice has been served. We cannot re-elect this gang of alleged criminals as if nothing had happened.
If the justice system continues to fail us, the alternatives are either military intervention or public revolution - we are entitled to our self-defence and to the justice of our peers (Magna Carta 1215).
In the event that they do manage to pull a general election on us prior to judging this case, then write the above crime number all over your ballot papers, and stand for parliament on the platform that case 6029679/21 must be tried.
This criminal case is absolutely central to the restoration of the sovereignty of the people and to the future of our nation.

Brian Gerrish swaps notes with ex-BBC journalist on the strange state of UK journalism.
"Fortune favours the brave"
"We need to see if you're one of us"
" ... the merging of man and machine ... were not far off that ... "
Slightly incestuously perhaps, one journalist interviewing another. The trouble is that is they are both talking from a similar perspective, so it's a bit of an agreement-fest. Nonetheless it's a very interesting conversation that brings out those triggers in life that provoke severe change of direction.

This tale of dastardly deeds and piratical purposes cries out for that good old-fashioned operatical treatment that was so well-received (and effective) in times of yore.
Are there no budding composers and librettists who can step forward to fill this yawning gap in our modern pantheon of raucous pop and discordant noise?
Plot? "Plot" you say? You want a plot?
Is there a shortage of plots?!
Perhaps we only have to look in the right place, and we will find a veritable cornucopia of plots!
But maybe we can help out today with a neatly packaged, scumbag filled, byzantine assemblage of legal twists, important actors, nefarious motivations, occult collusions and yes, that vital lowly hero who selflessly stands against the impossible odds, determined to secure the eventual inevitable triumph of light and love over venality, subterfuge, and darkness - simply because it is the right thing to do.
A microcosm that may exemplify both the worst and the best aspects of our modern Britain. Perhaps 'twas ever thus.
Courtesy of that trusted spiritual warrior Martin Geddes, who recounts today a tawdry tale of modern carpetbaggery by the suave and sophisticated at the expense of the now somewhat run-down but nevertheless still functional port at Palnackie, this is an incursion that must be repelled.
Set your hankies at the ready, the show will begin as soon as the operetta is prepared ...

Queensland Senator Gerard Rennick with some sound common sense in the Australian Senate.
Funnily enough he looks almost as lonely as Andrew Bridgen MP when he was speaking in the House of Commons, and seems to be just as unpopular with the Australian leadership.
He's certainly mentioning a very great deal more than has been previously mentioned.

A bit more probing on the possibility of an autoimmune response to the jabs:

Personally speaking, I would have thought it obvious and inevitable that if the jab causes your own cells to express a pathogenic or unusual protein, it would provoke an autoimmune response because that's what your immune system does - it attacks foreign stuff that shouldn't be there.
This isn't "rocket science".
The real question is why anybody ever thought that this might be acceptable? The word "bio-weapon" was always hard to avoid, and is becoming ever harder.
