It's a proposition with which we may find much to agree.
With individuals, psychopathic tendencies are limited in scope. With governments, such tendencies can be supported by the full range of coercive powers and national resources available. With a global government they would to all intents and purposes be unlimited.
So however likely or unlikely one might think it of a government, one really should consider that if it were so, that would be pretty calamitous, so it would be most unwise to evade the question.
When considering the government of the USA, the danger would be close to unthinkable ...
But whilst the Trump Administration is indeed pretty erratic in many ways, does his behaviour amount to psychopathy, and are there other circumstances that may be in play ?
