Yes, I know that this misquote is inappropriate, but in my defence I argue that the "ancien regime" that has ruled the world is not necessarily human. Humanoid perhaps, but definitely psychopathic.
My theory is that real humans are not psychopathic (unless they have been MK-Ultra'd of course).
And yes, I've borrowed a term which gained currency from the French Revolution to apply to the global mafiosi that have been running the world for seemingly ever. And which (according to Ben) is about to meet its comeuppance. "May you live in interesting times".
