As the covert battle for world domination seems to be approaching some sort of climax, it's nevertheless hard to see how it will end in any kind of tidy fashion. From the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, to the implosion of the Biden Pretendency, through the obscure state of the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, the ever less convincing and unelected government of the EU Commission, and the continuing evolution of eastern nations into the formidable union of the BRICS, the signs of change are unmistakable and everywhere.
Beneath these affairs of state, the state of affairs for the ordinary citizen does not progress well either, but is in various stages of latent and in some cases overt turmoil as citizenry of all stripes come to terms with the notion that governmental agencies of all kinds are not after all there for our benefit, or if they are, then they are failing in their most basic functions.
Our politicians are controlled by others, our legal system is incomprehensibly byzantine, inaccessible unresponsive and too expensive for the practical citizen, and the innumerable quasi-official bodies that seek to regulate and control us (not to mention judge and punish us for minor transgressions) simply present another quagmire of officialdom that seems to exist solely to impede confuse and annoy us into compliance with demands that may be neither legal nor lawful, nor capable of effective challenge in any reasonable timescale.
A few genuine heroes do nevertheless make it their business to present and pursue such challenges and document their results so that others may benefit.
Regular readers will already be familiar with Martin Geddes, who in the course of these pursuits has found himself documenting his own spiritual awakening, the realisation that all the legalese and control mechanisms that the State sets in place are fundamentally at odds with the basic humanity of both the family of man, as (1) the family unit of Mum and Dad raising the kids who will become the next generations, and (2) the Family of Man - the groups of tribes and nations who together populate and care for the world within which we live.
Today he muses upon our current situation, how the pursuit may be attempted (or not), and what he has learned through his efforts to call authorities (genuine and bogus!) to account.

Such men as Martin are exceptional indeed, and we would all be immeasurably poorer in spirit for their absence.
