Independence Day seems unlikely to bring us any independence, given the choices offered by those in charge.

We have overspent, and must pay the bill

One way or another. It's the iron law of banking, and it's the government that overspent so they must pay it down.

They don't have the money? What did they do with it? Oh yes, they sent a lot of it to the Ukraine to pay for the war against Russia that the Ukrainians are somehow fighting on our government's behalf, then they sent it to Israel for munitions to bomb the people of Gaza.

Did we vote for either of these wars?

In previous years they sent it to Afghanistan, Iraq, the former Yugoslavia, Kuwait, Libya, Afghanistan ... so many wars that I must apologise if I have inadvertently missed a few out.

Did we vote for those wars as well? We must be a very warlike nation!

They gave our money to Big Pharma for jabs that we never knew we wanted, to protect us from a disease that we never knew existed (except as the common cold), and that never impacted the usual death toll until the unproven jabs were rolled out in blatant defiance of every one of the Nuremberg Codes.

Oh, and they locked us down and stopped us from living our lives and meeting our friends and relatives whilst our businesses went bust and their "care" systems imprisoned our sick frail and elderly beyond our reach, to die alone under dubious medical protocols involving midazolam morphine and remdesivir - Oh, and intubation - only to be classed as "Covid" deaths on the basis of a fake test whose accuracy has never been satisfactorily established.

Then they with one voice denied that the jabs could possibly have any bearing upon the rising rate of deaths from all causes. They were "safe and effective" and that was that. Certainly they were safe for Big Pharma (who have immunity from prosecution) and effective for Big Pharma's bottom line. Less so for ours.

Perhaps the time has come to say that no, we the people will not pay the bill that is now due. They were not our wars, we were not consulted. Our government waged them upon their own initiative.

It was not our pandemic either, but an invention of the WHO (whose incestuous relationship with Big Pharma is beyond argument) and ruthlessly promoted by our government, who paid yet more of our money to "nudge" us into compliance via absurd full-page scary pictures in the national media alleging (without foundation) that asymptomatic carriers were roaming around spreading the disease without knowing.

We the people will find new ways to govern ourselves. Waging wars in far away places will not be amongst our priorities, neither will paying good money for fake pharmaceuticals, nor will waging psychological warfare on ourselves to get us to accept such products, be on our list of items to attend to.

However, revamping our justice system to bring our criminals to appropriate account may well be up for consideration.
