Britain and Ukraine have signed an

AGREEMENT ON SECURITY CO-OPERATION BETWEEN THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN & NORTHERN IRELAND AND UKRAINE

So the UK continues to poke the bear with a broken stick.

Does Rishi work for the British people and if so, where is his mandate to continue this failed proxy war?

If not, then for whom does he work?

These are not idle questions, they go to the heart of our democratic system. Do we really want to pay for this? Do we want to undertake potential war with Russia?

"Today is a day when the history of Europe has changed. Ukraine and the United Kingdom have signed a new unprecedented security agreement"

"The Agreement also includes a part on cooperation in case of future armed attacks"

So if Russia attacks the UK as a result of our proxy war provocations, Ukraine will come to our defence? This is not a "cooperation" between equals, but a meddling in the affairs of Central Europe. Like we owned the place. The last gasp of the Great Game?

Is the Ukraine our last outpost of empire, to be defended to the death, or do our politicians need a reminder of for whom they are supposed to work? Perhaps we should consider that we the people should deliver such a reminder, before some other power does so.
