The declared purpose of the President’s Advisory 1776 Commission is to
“enable a rising generation to understand the history and principles of the founding of the United States in 1776 and to strive to form a more perfect Union.”

and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free. - Ronald Reagan"
This could usefully be read by anybody who wishes to understand the makings of the most powerful nation on earth, and to understand what ails it today.
The United Kingdom also could use a similar document to assist our own recovery from those same ailments, but in the current absence of any such document, the 1776 Report may serve to inspire us also.
