The greek text of Revelation 18/23 uses the greek word φαρμακεία (pharmakeia) to indicate "sorcery".
Sorcery isn't merely a magical art - it is also the art of deception (as any stage magician will testify).
Speaking of "Babylon, the mighty city", Revelation 18/23 prophesies her destruction, listing all the inhabitants who will be extinguished, finishing with:
" ... and a voice of a bridegroom and bride will not be heard in you any more, for your merchants were the magnates of the Earth, for by your sorcery [φαρμακεία] all the nations were deceived, and in her was found blood of prophets and set apart people and of all those murdered on the Earth"

If we suspect (as I do) that Covid is likely an enormous global deception, then we have to ask what the vaccines are actually designed to do.

Whether you believe (as Aaron Earls suggested in 2021) that φαρμακεία has nothing to do with our modern pharmaceutical practices is for each of us to form our own viewpoint on (and parking it in the "too difficult" box pending further developments, if any, is always an available option).
