An interesting report from Dr Rachel Nicoll in the Daily Sceptic today.

Not because it breaks new scientific knowledge but because of what it reveals about our "authorities".

Dr Myhill made the "mistake" of advocating well-established remedies for respiratory complaints for Covid patients, and in consequence was hauled before the GMC, evidently not to explain herself, but to be silenced by being struck off.

But the GMC continued, taking her to court.

Where she was exonerated. Reportedly for the 43rd time.

"No longer can doctors act in the best interests of their patient with proper informed consent"

" ... the GMC is the oldest regulatory body in the world. If it were my patient and I its doctor, I would diagnose senile dementia. This is the only example of voluntary euthanasia I can justify"

Who knew that ridicule can also be good medicine?
