Readers wanting to know about real climate science should understand one thing - it is so preposterously complex and open to the influence of so many variables, not all of which are probably yet identified let alone confirmed or actually measurable, that it is completely unrealistic to assert that human beings have mastered it, given the extreme paucity of actual hard information available. It is not and cannot be "settled" since "the science" is by its very nature never "settled" but always open to correction and reinterpretation in the light of new information. Those who maintain otherwise are either ignorant or mendacious or possibly both.
NB: "models" may well be complicated, difficult to construct, and to understand, but these traits of themselves do not make them any part of "science" - they are simply logical tools invented for automatically generating results based upon the modeller's fancy and whatever "data" he (or anyone else) chooses to put in.
Now add 'lies, damned lies, and statistics' into this devil's brew ...
