Can We Judge a Country by the Nature of its Investments?

With Germany and much of Europe (perhaps excluding Hungary) relentlessly investing in power provision that doesn't work, yet still desperately dreaming of upping its investments in arms and munitions "for the "defence of Europe",  and the UK simply trying to stabilise its sinking economy, what is Russia up to, now that the West has forced it to ramp up its military to attack the bandits in Ukraine, a country that it used to control under the USSR, which assumed independence post-USSR - and (post the CIA-inspired Maidan revolution of 2014) became a proxy of UK/USA/NATO under the Biden Pretendency?

Whilst 'the Donald' has a vision of incorporating both Canada and Greenland (and who knows where else) within some sort of union with the States of North America, and Israel still Hell-bent on incorporating much of the surrounding territory into a "Greater Israel", I wonder what 'Vlad the Bad' has up his sleeve for Russia's future?

Here Andy Thomas interviews Rupert Sheldrake, who found his original studies in biology wanting, and decided that he needed something better, resulting in a number of books, various attempts to discredit his ideas, and a rather different career path outside the mainstream than perhaps he envisaged. 

Lots of food for thought here, all nicely argued.

RIP WHO - Long Live the CDC?

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Interest of Justice reviews America's withdrawal from the WHO, apparently only to set up the CDC under RFK Jr as a similarly unaccountable and dictatorial authority.

Given that our own medical regulators "always" take their lead from the US authorities, this affects the UK and elsewhere just as much as it affects America.

"The newly restructured CDC - which today became the US official pandemic authority - raises profound questions"

What could possibly go wrong?
