So what exactly is Trump up to in Arabia?
They seem to be surprisingly Trumpish toward him if you ask me.
And I don't think it's simply because the size of his ego impresses them ...
Investor's Daily (PKA "Fortune and Freedom" - this is not financial advice!) has a suggestion that perhaps makes much more sense ...

Lambeth Council have been taken to Court by a residents group for ignoring their views on an LTN proposal.
" 'Lambeth council chose to spend public funds fighting the very community it exists to serve, rather than sitting down with us to find a workable, locally supported solution,' the group’s spokesperson said."
I wonder what problem it was that required a solution ?
" ...the judge said in his judgement on Friday that the council was guilty of a 'masterclass in selective partial reporting' in how it reported the outcome of the library consultation... "
" ... it was easier to sustain the cross-party political consensus on climate, via air pollution scare stories, and local chapters of a few dozen Friends of the Earth activists, against practically zero organised opposition at the local level"
Ah, so the problem was that nobody was buying into the "climate emergency" scam, so they decided to call it something else, but nobody bought into that either?
There's no pleasing some folk.
But never mind, the Council is taking its time to decide whether it needs to actually do anything different, because whilst the High Court found the consultation / decision process wanting, perhaps it didn't specifically criticise the actual outcome, so maybe the council could simply leave the LTN in place whilst it arranges a new and improved "consultation" ?

Martin Geddes' quest to get to the bottom of his strange "prosecution" for parking his van in darkest Cumbria has elicited a remarkable response from the person in charge of "Legal and Professional Services, Central Legal Operations", at "HM Courts and Tribunal Service".
You just have to read this, otherwise you wouldn't believe that a senior Barrister in high position would be capable of such a legally inadequate reply.
But in mitigation, perhaps the said respondent hasn't caught up with the AI revolution yet? I suspect that running the FOIA through an appropriate AI would have prompted a rather different response ...

Make of this what you will ...
... but as always, Trump is wrong-footing a lot of people!
He's probably the only global politician who can pull it off. I suppose you could say that this is what power-play leadership is all about, and of course, it serves to keep his opposition confused.
