  • A Masterclass on How We got Here

    2023-07-01

I never had the time or inclination to delve into the intricacies of communist-socialist-fascist-neo-con internecine warfare, but after reading this magnum opus I have come to a better understanding of the words "dialectic" and "cybernetics". I'm not sure that this makes me a wiser person, but it highlights the tendency of elites everywhere to invent a jargon that only the initiates understand, and thereby keeps everyone else out of the loop.

Canadian historian Matt Ehret is a veritable walking encyclopedia of historical knowledge and yet somehow seems to remain a well-grounded human person, a feat that I suspect eluded most of the characters whose progress he has studied.

In this article he takes us on a ride through about the last 150 years right up to Prigozhin's recent

  • Iraq War, WMDs, and Dr David Kelly's "Suicide"

    2023-06-30

Dr David Kelly was outed as a "source" for a BBC report (yes you read that right - how times change) that created doubt about the "dodgy" WMD dossier relied upon by Prime Minister Blair that led to the Iraq war.

He was later found dead, ruled a suicide, a verdict disputed by many.

"... there is no possibility that at an inquest a verdict other than suicide would be returned"

    Britain subsequently went to war.

    So that's it, right?

But who was the Chief Microbiologist at Porton Down?

  • "Global Disclosure" - The Cosmic Hoax

    2023-06-30

Dr Steven Greer has made a name for himself over the years investigating the alien phenomena that have over the years graced our newspapers and more recently the internet, with varying degrees of lurid sensationalism.

Whether we believe in aliens or not, we might admit that the idea of a fake alien invasion would likely be the scam of the year decade century millenium all time.

Would we put it past our Military Industrial Political Complex?

We featured this video last year, but as the current attempt to impose a world government under the unaccountable UN seems to be encountering unprecedented public opposition, a reminder may be timely.

  • By Their Fruits Shall Ye Know Them

    2023-06-30

"Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit... Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them"King James Bible Matthew 7: 17-20

Oxford City Council should pay attention. Their reworking of Broad Street in furtherance of their Net Zero ambitions that we should all get out of out motor transport (and what exactly?) doesn't inspire J Sorel:

"The new sitting area... isn’t a paved-over section of its own, but is instead grafted straight onto the tarmac itself – this is not an attempt to build something, but to deface something else"

"The purpose of this place isn’t for people to sit, but simply to obstruct the street"

"The ... bollards are irregular in shape and irregularly placed, forming a jagged line.

  • Covid vs Flu - An Unequal Contest?

    2023-06-30

Readers of this site will know that I don't necessarily accept that the Covid virus exists. After all, if it did exist, why bother to produce a fake test?

Of course it might be real, but still impotent to create any kind of pandemic.

Then there are those who believe that the whole science of virology may be a scam (a position with which I would have little trouble concurring after these last years).

But Eugyppius writing for the Daily Sceptic brings some new thought-provoking theory to the argument, which even if not exactly correct in all the convoluted Covid circumstances, does bring fresh thinking to the fore - a rare achievement in these polarised times.

And yes, he does seem to make a lot of sense.

    Still,

  • Is The Rule of Law Now Defunct in the UK?

    2023-06-29

The Good Law Project has caved.

Henceforth it will only pursue the cases that the Government-Judiciary-Cabal permit.

That is my interpretation and I'm sure that there are those who would disagree, so please make up your own mind as to whether we still have the rule of law in our benighted country.

There was a time in the not so distant past when the government were indeed taken to task in the highest courts in the land over their handling of Brexit, but perhaps there are projects and projects... or litigants and litigants.

    Make up your own mind.

  • Are We All Terrorists Now?

    2023-06-29

    What is a terrorist anyway?

In the minds of most, the word would I imagine conjure images of someone who is likely to plan instigate engage in or otherwise contribute to acts of violence or violent insurrection, with the objective of spreading terror.

Vanessa does seem a most unlikely terrorist to me.

Vanessa Beeley, independent journalist often featuring on UK Column reports, describes the opaque and apparently unconstitutional powers that have led various people including herself to being detained searched and having possessions confiscated, apparently without any recourse to law.

Is this what our country, our England, has become?

Or is immigration control seriously out of control?

    2023-06-29

We may have to try harder to keep up - Norway has now joined Sweden in rejecting unreliable energy from "renewables" but unlike Sweden is reverting to oil and gas.

Well, I suppose they have to keep the lights on somehow.

Who will be the next to break from the ranks of the green man?

  • Lies, Damned Lies, and Computer Models

    2023-06-29

Net Zero Watch publishes a paper which analyses the code behind NASA's Model E Climate simulation.

We have written about the relationship between computer modelling and science before. That article was occasioned by the failure of Prof Ferguson's Covid modelling, but at the end of the day any computer model is simply a computer program written in order to simulate a specific system according to the understanding of the modeller. That understanding may or may not be based on science - or more specifically, on the scientific method.

Models may be simple or they may be extremely complex, but of itself, complexity does not equate to "science"!

    So here's a surprise -

Climate Change Battle Taken to Council

    2023-06-29

Colchester City Council to be more precise.

Concerned residents make a straightforward case to the Council - take control of your own opinions, don't just unquestioningly accept what you're being told.

In truth it's a criticism that could apply to any of us, on any subject, but when you are a representative of the people and you want to push policies that are not necessarily to the advantage of the people, you need to be very sure of your ground.

  • Sweden Jumps Ship on Climate Agenda

    2023-06-28

"Swedish Parliament, Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson warned that the Scandinavian nation needs “ 'stable energy system' "

    Who would have thought it?

"... wind and solar power are too 'unstable' to meet the nation’s energy requirements... "

"Swedish Government is shifting back to nuclear power and has ditched its targets for a '100% renewable energy' supply"'

  • Part 27 - Rule of the WEF - End of Homo Sapiens Sapiens

    2023-06-27

An interesting presentation that we should take seriously...

But they are few and we are many, and we are no longer afraid. Fear is what they want - but too many are now aware of their plans.

In reality, I suspect that their own plans are actually beyond their powers to implement. I'd even say, beyond their technology - they just don't know it yet.

That's not to say that they couldn't do a great deal of harm in trying. After all, they already have with their jabs, abortions, propaganda, and take-over of education, big pharma, the media, and governing institutions worldwide.

  • Free Speech in the Right Frame of Mind and Place

    2023-06-27

Do we believe in "free speech"?

Well, James Delingpole is brave enough to say that "it depends".

    And I think he's right.

Free speech in the right circumstances is very beneficial if it helps others to formulate their own views.

In the wrong circumstances it muddies the waters, confuses the listener, and and may even promote the madness of crowds...

I also think that "free speech" doesn't include deliberate falsehoods half-truths omissions or incitement to criminality. To be useful it has to be honest peaceful and unthreatening.

Which introduces another problem - who is to judge this "honesty"? Rhetoric can be used for good or for ill, to inform or to confuse or to mislead. Caveat

  • Fulford Monday Report 26 June 2023

    2023-06-26

As we might have hoped, Ben's report manages to cover the Wagner goings-on of recent days, and brings quite bit of new info (new to me anyway!). I think it may well be new to most, certainly (if not totally unexpectedly) it pulls an entirely new angle.

It all helps to paint the picture, and with "stuff" happening at seemingly ever-increasing pace it's certainly welcome.

Not only that, he drops some quite explicit cues indicating what may now be imminently in the works... you have been warned.

    Highly recommended this week.

  • Today's Harsh Truths

    2023-06-26

That the world is in a terrible state is more or less unarguable.

The precise extent of that terrible state is indeed arguable, and Iurie Roșca (published in Technocracy News and Trends) makes a good fist of putting it in the worst possible light - together with plenty of good supporting evidence, just in case we were doubtful.

In fact, it's very hard to argue the opposite case in conventional terms, since the Deep State, after many years of preparation, does seem to have all the angles covered.

Therefore, only a huge upset in conventional thinking can bring the Deep State house down, and usher in a different future.

But before that can be achieved, it's necessary to understand the full extent of our peril.

  • Another Straw Blowing in the Wind Narrative

    2023-06-26

It's only when it hits us in the pocket that we take note.

As if it hasn't hit us hard enough yet in the pocket (despite years of unproductive subsidy), the wind farms are showing their true (lack of) mettle.

To engineers it probably isn't a surprise that a turbine that has to work safely and productively in multifarious wind conditions from storm-force to flat calm (not to mention similar directional variability, bird strikes etc) may exhibit reliability problems (ie: break down). They are subject to such wide and uncontrolled conditions of operation that failure is an ongoing problem. The latest news from manufacturer Siemens would seem to confirm this.

But will any of "our" representatives in Parliament and local government notice?

"The implications for the UK’s Net Zero policy, built around an assumption of ever cheaper wind power, are profound"

Ivor Cummins, whose excellent contributions to keeping us sane throughout the Covid years were huge, here discusses the origins of the New World Order with Dr Jacob Nordangard. • Civil Peace in Russia

    2023-06-25

Well, that didn't last long did it?

All nicely tied up to Putin's undoubted satisfaction - game set and match I would suggest.

Can we believe what we are being told in the papers?

Russia weak, his generals outclassed, his defence minister out of his depth (Heavens above! - are we sure they aren't projecting too much from EU experience?).

One thing we really ought to have learned from recent years is that we can't take anything we are being told at face value.

"Did Putin bribe Prigozhin to back down?" was one headline I noticed this morning. That idea is just so risible I don't know were to start.

So let's look at it from a different point of view. Instead of thinking "East vs West" "Russia vs Ukraine"
