Is There a Climate Crisis? The Science Says Not Now and Not in the Future

I reported this lecture by Dr Happer back in March, in the form of a transcript.
I am happy to present this very accessible and informative presentation as a video, which perhaps removes some of the dryness of reading a transcript:
Why not watch your cake and read it?
Read the original transcript (with accompanying illustrations) here.
Why the "Crimes against Humanity" heading? This video has been mirrored by Robert David Steele as part of his campaign to alert the USA and the world to the alleged attempt by the "global elites" to transfer such money power and wealth as remains to the 99% of the population to the 1% who already own most of the world's wealth.
A key part of this plan is said to be the climate change scam to convince everybody that the world is in imminent danger from rising levels of CO2 and that we must all pay ever higher subsidies taxes and other charges and submit ourselves to ever more population controls in order to conserve energy and save the planet.
Such a scam would clearly be a crime against humanity.

In these fraught days it is becoming more obvious with every twist and turn of the Great Covid Saga that we no longer live in a functional democracy, which I will loosely define here as our government by our representatives in Parliament. When we left the EU, Parliament assumed "sovereignty" under the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2020 in apparent contravention of the pre-EU constitutional settlement whereby our sovereign Monarch would appoint government ministers and Parliament would hold them to account on behalf of we the people. Was this a constitutional change by sleight of hand, or simply an ambiguity of wording?
So what of "democracy"? If we would aspire to a better form of government, then it behoves us to understand what we have now, and to define what kind of democracy we need, so that we will be in a position to suggest how we may change the system to get to where we want to be.
Clearly the existing system where we elect a political party to govern us is not a genuine democracy, because "our" MPs are beholden to their party whips, who in turn are beholden to their party's financiers. They are not for practical purposes beholden to us.
If financiers finance (or otherwise control) both the leading parties then they effectively control the government whatever the election result. In fact, they only need to control the party leadership.
These days one suspects that they may also control the Cabinet Office, which in its current seemingly all-encompassing form in effect controls the civil service. Since (most) ministers tiresomely have to be re-elected every few years, it would make sense to have a second string to their bow.
The Cabinet Office also oversees the activities of the UK Governance Group. It's not clear to me what this group does but I did find these links (Parliamentary Question, Blog) which may shed some light in what may be a dark corner.
We must also consider the activities of the Privy Council, which is mostly populated by our political classes and judiciary and operates in some ways as a kind of House of Lords for territories not part of the UK (Channel Islands etc).
So where are we today? What does "sovereignty of Parliament" actually mean? How are the changes in the Royal Family likely to impact on current arrangements?
In truth some of these questions as yet have no answers, but they do illustrate the complexities and ambiguities of our current form of government. Ambiguities that perhaps some may be tempted to use to effect change by the back door.
For a reminder of the definition, history and evolution of democratic government, visit the Democracy Defined Campaign. It's covers all the important points, and everybody will learn something useful.
For a short, more personal viewpoint of where we are today, see this article in Independence Daily (and Part 2 here).

Yesterday i had my introduction to the JR Nyquist blog, and today I encounter the Climate Discussion Nexus article on the alleged Chinese ambition to dominate the world ...
Now I have to say that I have no firm information - we are certainly in the realms of speculation, but as they say, if the cap fits, wear it.
World history has been littered by a long succession of folk who felt that they were entitled to rule the world (or as much of it as they could get their hands on before their regime fell apart) and would go to any lengths to do so. The problem that we face today is that the world has been shrunk to such an extent by sea travel, air travel, probably soon sub-orbital space travel, and recently by what we might christen zoom travel, that it is now perfectly possible for a dictator or tiny cabal of the rich and powerful to hope to establish world rule, to their own exclusive benefit.
Comprehensive top-down control perfected!
Could it work?
Probably not, since there would always be somebody even in a small ruling class that would want the power for themselves and would stop at nothing to get it. It would be ancient Rome writ large, only worse.
The rule of law only works for all if applied equally and respected by all. Too many nations these days seem to be departing from this standard. In fact our own government for some years has seemed to prefer to talk of a mysterious "rules-based order" which sounds neither well defined nor well understood.
In most nations the government has the monopoly on legal violence and coercion. When applied in accordance with the rule of law as accepted by all, this monopoly works, but are we now departing from this standard? The double-standards recently evident in policing in the western world do not reassure, and one begins to value the thinking of the founding fathers of the constitution of the USA.
After 70 years of peace (Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, Israel, Syria, Libya, much of Africa and many others close your ears for a moment) we in the west have become accustomed to believe that the days of conflict are behind us permanently, but it would be surprising if conflict were not still brewing in less overt form. Has human nature really changed its spots to that extent?
Perhaps the real challenge for the world's peoples today is not "how can our lot come out on top without us getting destroyed?" but "how can we govern ourselves so that we can all live in peace and harmony and all equally reap the massive opportunities offered by peaceful and harmonious cooperation?".
Whilst the answer to that question may have to wait awhile longer, today's feature article from CDN draws attention to the twin concepts of geopolitical ambition and the green agenda.
"In our judgment, so entrenched are the CCP’s influence networks among British elites that Britain has passed the point of no return, and any attempt to extricate itself from Beijing’s orbit would probably fail"
"Well, I say try anyway ..."
If the cap fits ...

For the avoidance of doubt, I do not consider this an "April Fool" fabrication.
PRESS RELEASE: Doctors and Scientists Accuse Medical Regulator of Downplaying COVID-19 Vaccine Dangers
Sounds serious? That isn't the half of it.
"Such is the real risk-benefit analysis of the COVID-19 “vaccines”. Either the EMA lacks the subject-matter expertise to appreciate the molecular science of this reality, or it lacks the medical ethics to act accordingly"
"failure to inform 'vaccine' recipients of the risks and negligible benefits outlined here represents serious violations of medical ethics and citizens’ medical rights"
"The Nuremberg Code prohibits human experimentation of the very kind being endorsed and defended by the EMA"
"We remind the EMA that Nuremberg violations constitute crimes against humanity under the Geneva Convention"
"For the avoidance of doubt, if your regulatory body does not immediately suspend its “emergency” recommendation of potentially dangerous inadequately tested gene-based “vaccines”, while the matters which we have highlighted to you are properly investigated, we hereby put the European Medicines Agency on notice of being complicit in medical experimentation, in violation of the Nuremberg Code, which thereby constitutes the commission of crimes against humanity"
Read the Rebuttal of the EMA's position
The above contain additional links to the original correspondence between Doctors for Covid Ethics and the EMA.
For more supporting information in podcast format, listen to Dr Mike Yeadon interviewed on the Delingpod.
" ... you need to be paying attention because you may be able to save liberal democracy - or not"
" ... vaccine passports is more than just a civil liberties matter - it is existential for the nation and possibly the world"
" ... I would say that every one of the major things that the government and SAGE advisers have told you is a lie"

If you feel that the last thing you need is another article about Covid, then who can blame you?
Nevertheless I feature this video presentation (whilst it escapes the Y T censors) because it's a short simple nuts and bolts explanation of the benefits of vitamin D, also Ivermectin as an early and safe treatment (and not merely for Covid), by a well qualified medical doctor.
He also has some remarks to make about the drive for vaccination.
Outstanding.
The first 25 minutes only - the second half hour is all about US and Idaho politics . . .
