We have covered the work of this ex-cop before ...
... but we have had to wait until now for the full truth to (hopefully) come out into the mainstream.
"This could have all come out eight years ago ..."
"London kids need justice"
Of course, it could just be a baseless conspiracy theory ...

The NHS is showing its "progressive" tendencies.
Despite the many good people still trying to make this unstable top-heavy unaccountable progressivistic leviathan work for our benefit, its leadership is myopic, management is treated as a specialism in its own right and thus populated by expert managers, and the stench of rank stupidity has become intolerable.
Other than that the NHS is wonderful of course and we wouldn't have it any other way ...

OK - I confess - the title of this article is click-bait!
It should have read
"Vaccines Do Not Cause Multiple Illnesses (of which Autism is One) - True or False?"
which I think you may agree is too long to serve as a nice snappy title.
Now with that confession out of the way, the US Senate has been holding hearings on the alleged link/non-link (choose your position now!) between childhood vaccinations and subsequent impaired childhood development.
Aaron Siri, a lawyer who has made quite a name for himself working on behalf of Del Bigtree's ICAN to get to the truth about the vaccine question, gave evidence on Tuesday.
And very interesting it turned out to be ...
See the The Henry Ford Study, which found plenty to be concerned about but did not claim any link with autism:
"We did not find any statistical association between vaccine exposure and cancer, food allergy, autism, seizure disorder and certain other conditions. Statistical comparisons could not be conducted for certain conditions, such as diabetes and ADHD, because there were no cases in the unexposed group. Despite this and in contrast to our expectations, we found that exposure to vaccination was independently associated with an overall 2.5-fold increase in the likelihood of developing a chronic health condition, when compared to children unexposed to vaccination"
See also our report on the Toby Rogers research which seems to conflict with the above statement!

For those who (like myself) have lived in blissful ignorance of this review, it was set up in October 2019 ...
"These instructions set out the basis on which the National Safeguarding Team of the Church of England commissions Keith Makin (“the Reviewer”) to undertake a review into the Church of England’s handling of allegations relating to the conduct of the late John Smyth QC."
"1. Objective of the Review
1.1 This review (“the Review”) will allow those individuals who have indicated that they have sustained harm at the hands of John Smyth and given an account to the Church of England to describe their experiences.
1.2 The Review will consider the actions of Church of England participants and will identify both good practice and failings in the Church’s handling of the allegations relating to John Smyth, including their safeguarding practice, in order that they can take steps to enhance and improve their response to allegations of abuse and, thereby, ensure the Church provides a safer environment for all"
"The Reviewer will not be able to make formal findings of fact but is asked to give a view, informed by his professional judgment, as to what version of events seems most likely, on the balance of probabilities"
So far, so circumspect, but this from the Key Findings, as published in the Makin Review in October 2024:
"John Smyth was an appalling abuser of children and young men. His abuse was prolific, brutal and horrific. His victims were subjected to traumatic physical, sexual, psychological and spiritual attacks. The impact of that abuse is impossible to overstate and has permanently marked the lives of his victims. John Smyth’s own family are victims of his abuse."
* Those unprepared for such matters should consider whether they wish to continue reading *
Keith Makin is described as an "independent reviewer".
According to 4 News Keith is a "former social services director".
According to Surviving Church: "He was chosen by the NST for his 30 years of management in the social care field. He has already led on a number of serious case reviews. He is clearly a professional in this line of expertise but there is no indication of any background in the church".
According to the Independent: "Makin is a former director of Social Services, was the chief executive of an independent childcare company, and has much experience in abuse inquiries"
And finally, from the CurchofEngland.org August 2019:
"Keith Makin is an executive in the social care and health sector, with over 30 years experience as a manager. He has held the posts of Director of Social Services, Chief Executive of an independent childcare agency, Executive Director of a Government Improvement Agency and now runs a consultancy in social care and health. Keith is also active in the voluntary sector, having been a Board member and Director of several organisations, including two social enterprises.
Keith is a qualified social worker. He has a degree in Economics, with postgraduate qualifications in Social Administration and Management.
Keith has chaired several local safeguarding partnerships and has led on several high profile reviews and inquiries into safeguarding concerns"
(NB: The fact that Keith Makin and I share the same surname may or may not imply a familial relationship - I don't know him and I haven't investigated the matter since I became aware of him this morning!)

Rotherham and Telford are infamous for a reason.
They were investigated (eventually) and common ground was identified.
"A plethora of reports and inquiries have been published since that time, highlighting commonalities around grooming tactics, public sector failures and poor data collection"
"Reports from Rotherham, Telford, and later by Baroness Casey suggest that professional incompetence and political expediency were far more significant, although sensitivities around race did play a role"
"Social workers were using a model of child protection designed for intrafamilial abuse and removed children from their homes even when the home environment was a protective factor"
It seems to me that the time for further studies and reports is over - the time for investigations and public prosecutions is well overdue. If not now, then when?
"The Telford report suggests that professionals, including police officers, teachers, social workers and youth workers, became increasingly aware of CSE over the years but lacked the tools to deal with it"
One might ask who was negligently responsible for the provision of these "tools", but it's equally tempting and likely just as appropriate to observe that "a bad workman blames his tools".
What have the Police and Crime Commissioners done about it?
What have our MPs done about it?
What have our Councils done about it?
Is the responsibility simply spread across too many agencies?
In matters criminal, should not the Police take the lead?
Should not those who neglected their duties be charged and brought before the Courts?
Perhaps the toolkit is not as empty as has been suggested ...

When does the mass rape of children become a real scandal?
