Bio-labs are in the news again, this time reportedly at our very own Imperial College, London.

IC have denied the "gain of function" accusation, but in that case it's not at all clear what the purpose of the project was:

"Imperial defended its research. A spokesperson said: 'This government-backed research used viruses no more pathogenic than those already circulating within the population and will provide crucial insights that support government decision-making on how to manage the pandemic"

Surely in these matters, in order to maintain public trust, transparency is essential, especially in times when a not inconsiderable portion of the public already have considerable distrust in both IC and the government.

The Daily Mail article.

Should we be worried?

Given that they are starting off with a virus of similar mendacity to the flu, and given that attempts so far have failed to make any coronavirus into the stuff of a real pandemic (despite the associated hullaballoo), then I personally would find it hard to be too concerned about such a virus.

However, if they persist in trying to fob an injected vaccine for it onto us, then I would be extremely concerned, because (a) the body's primary defence is to prevent a respiratory virus from ever reaching the bloodstream in the first place, so a vaccination would be pointless, and (b) any injection will bypass this primary defence, and secondary defences will have already been significantly weakened by the Covid vaccines + interminable boosters (ineffective but still ongoing despite all the evidence that nobody wants to see).

If a vaccine needs constant boosters then it doesn't work.

Call me a conspiracy theorist if you want, but where is the logic in vaccinating the world for an alleged respiratory infection no worse than the flu under the pretence that it constitutes a lethal pandemic, when the vaccines don't work? Answers on a postcard please to the usual address ...
