China's Emerging New Leadership
2025-06-14
I do like the way this lady slips effortlessly between English and Chinese pronunciation - it's a nice trick but leaves my brain in the dust trying to catch up.
This is quite a tour de force, covering not just the presidency, but a considerable slice of Chinese leadership - this isn't a simple one in one out, rather an entire new regime.
"... this is a peaceful transfer of power... "
"... a critical question - who will be considered the new top leader of China? "
If history is any guide, "... the person who controls the military holds ultimate power... "
We will see.

Israel's "Decapitation Strike" on Iran

Ukraine Now Up the Creek With No Paddle?
2025-06-12
This guy isn't exactly diplomatic, but maybe he's just responding to the Trump zeitgeist of being direct about serious matters - like the Ukraine. At least we don't run away with any illusions about the subject matter. And the other benefit is that he covers a lot of ground very economically in terms of our time - what's not to like?

Xi JinPing Reportedly No Longer in Power
2025-06-12
If you can follow all this then well done!
This follows on from Lei's earlier video.
It's far too complex for me, but I do get the impression that something is definitely up, and not to Xi JinPing's advantage...

What Did Trump Know of the Strike on Russia?
2025-06-11
This is a critical question - if Vladimir Putin cannot trust the Trump then all bets are off.
Nuclear war beckons, because negotiation isn't possible without some level of trust.
Trump needs to get to the bottom of this and fast.
Scott Ritter reviews the position.

China EV Ecosystem Implodes?
2025-06-11
If we thought the EV industry in the West was bad, maybe the BYD situation in China is worse. Is this the result of the Donald's tariff policies?
Probably not entirely, although it does seem to be coincidental.
Still, Chinese companies' accounts can be as creative as anywhere else...
... and President' Xi's leadership may not be all it has been cracked up to be...

Ukraine Burn-Out and the End Game in Europe?
2025-06-10
Scott Ritter summarises the position.
"... the strategic defeat of Ukraine, the strategic defeat of NATO, and the strategic defeat of the European Union..."
" ... to defeat NATO means that you have to politically destroy NATO... NATO can no longer continue to exist as a cohesive military alliance..."
"... Germany is defenceless against Russia and that means that Europe is defenceless against Russia... "

Confusion Reigns - Fulford Report Monday 9 June 2025
2025-06-09
It's undeniably and unavoidably a long report this week.
The Elon-Trump situation is front and centre, but so is much else besides. The glaring omission is the mystery surrounding the status of President Xi JinPing of China.
It's rather a big hole in his discussion this week, since anything Xi agrees should be viewed with suspicion. Still, so should almost everything else in this report!
It's certainly a case of read it yourself and form your own opinions. My opinion? Israel and Ukraine are key, and very little is on their side.

Onward and Upward - to the Nineteenth Century
2025-06-09
But Worse.
In the 1800s the Highland Clearances of the crofters (to make way for more profitable sheep-farming) took place, leading to a forced exodus of crofters to the new world, or anywhere they could still scratch a living.
Today we face not the local threat that confronted the crofters, but compound global threats:
an employment threat - we will be displaced by AI from the work that we have traditionally undertaken - and
an entirely real threat from the fantasists who push the entirely false threat of climate doom from CO2, and are intent on rewilding our food production streams (farms to you and me) that we need in order to eat.

The Bricks are Back - and Neatly Stacked
2025-06-09
The BLM and other riots were characterised by the inexplicable appearance of neatly-stacked bricks on American streets.
And lo and behold, similar appearances are being made in Los Angeles where the Donald is sending in troops to quell the lawlessness.
So who could be paying for these and arranging delivery?

The Plot to Break Up Russia
2025-06-08
Helga Zepp-Larouche isn't my favourite presenter, but needs must.
In any case she doesn't seem to offer much by way of a likely way forward - anyone relying on the frankly rather moribund machinery of the UN may be disappointed - the "unmanageable situation" isn't likely to wait.
But stick with it - Harley Schlanger makes a very passable attempt to review how we got here.
And is the UK really involved in this?
In today's world it isn't possible to be sure, but there are those who suspect so - and may have the receipt to prove it.

Did the USA Know About Zelenskyy's Drone Attack?
2025-06-05
Scott Ritter spills the beans (as he understands them) about the drone attack on Russia's air force.
Putin must somehow retaliate for what Russia regards not only as an act of terrorism (civilians were killed and civilian assets attacked) - but also as a direct attack on his nuclear delivery capability.
So, against whom will this retaliation be directed?
"This is a British operation... "
"... MI6 is a rogue operation... "

Welcome to the Net Zero Straitjacket
2025-06-05
Although the Net Zero bandwagon is now coming off the rails globally, our myopic government is still committed to crashing what remains of our economy, impoverishing our population, obeying every edict from the unaccountable WEF-UN partnership, and wondering why Reform is so popular.
Must we wait until the lights go out before anybody does something about this? Or perhaps their solution is to bypass the whole issue by goading Russia into an all-out war (conventional or otherwise), oblivious of the small matter that war needs reliable energy and plenty of it?
The Net Zero Straitjacket summarises.

Time to Step Back from the Brink!
2025-06-05
The Schiller Institute is concerned about the Russia-Ukraine-NATO-EU war - as well they - along with all the rest of humanity - should be.
Wherever we live on this planet, a war fought with nuclear weapons is likely a route to global extinction, or at best to an extensive dark age where such life as survives will be both arduous and dangerous.
Wiser heads must prevail, but in a world where our leaders seem literally hell-bent on escalation regardless of cost, where are such heads to be found?
Perhaps if they are not to be found among the tiny ranks of established leadership, they must be found in the hitherto complacent ranks of the multitude.

Trumponomics

Trump's tariffs - stroke of genius or economic delusion?
James Altucher in Investors Daily gives us a quick tour of the ins and outs.
Whatever you think, the very fact that somebody is prepared to think and act "outside the box" of established paths to failure may (perhaps should) be regarded as a cause for hope.
