Martin Geddes has demonstrated to everybody (who cares to look) that the system of British Justice, especially the Single Justice Procedure, is now effectively operating beyond its remit.
Operation Talla has shown the same disregard for both the rules and the spirit of our ancient constitution.
No doubt one can think of other similar examples.
More broadly, our joining of the EU without permission of the population under Ted Heath, Manhattan 9/11, Kuwait Iraq Libya the Balkans, Pearl harbour, Lusitania ... even perhaps Guy Fawkes, the list goes on.
So what to do when those charged with the duty of leading the nation in the interests of our people(s) are indisputably acting not in the interests of our peoples, but in other interests entirely?
Civil war would be like jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire - a last resort indeed. We English tried it once, at huge cost to Albion, and ended up exchanging a monarchical hierarchy for a parliamentary system. We now know where that ended up.
