Finally, it's on.

The Bernician has been working for some time on the legal aspects of the Covid "pandemic", but actual legal action has so far not been forthcoming. Clearly if you want to take such powerful vested interests to court on such serious charges, you had better get your case straight.

Add to that the understandable reluctance of any court to hear such a case effectively against a current government, which if proven would probably bring that government down.

So I have no idea how all this will turn out, but I find this attempt to bring this case to court a worthwhile attempt as it will put the courts in the position of having to come clean about how they will handle matters.

So this is the latest sitrep - worth a hearing (even if only to hear his interesting comments about Boris Johnson):

The ECLJ intervenes as amicus curiae in this case pending before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.

The problem is not new - it is the long-standing tendency of the Open Society Foundations (George Soros to you and me) to be involved in funding judicial appointees who then participate in cases which are by no means unrelated to the policies of the Foundations, leading many to feel that the impartial judgement of the court may be compromised by a conflict of interest. The ECLJ has reported on similar situations in European courts.

This is a well recognised age-old problem for which the very phrase "conflict of interest" was devised.

Ben Habib explains what he is up to - he is taking Boris to task for the Northern Ireland protocol that is currently dividing the Union.

“Today we are writing to the Prime Minister. This government is driving a coach & horses through the Act of Union. We have no option but to take legal action”

Whilst it's good to see initiatives like this that take the preservation of the Union very seriously, surely the point is that Parliament should be taking the lead here?

The very fact that politicians are now resorting to legal action speaks volumes about the fiction that Parliament is composed of those who represent the views of the people.

The BBC reports:-

"Matt Hancock acted unlawfully when his department did not reveal details of contracts it had signed during the Covid pandemic, a court has ruled"

When the Covid pandemic struck the government allegedly threw all its normal procurement processes out of the window as it seemingly fell over itself to place orders for PPE.

Many questioned the rationale for placing such orders with suppliers who appeared to be manifestly unsuitable under all normal sourcing criteria, but in any event the government was still under a legal obligation to publish details of its procurements within 30 days after the event.

It appears that this obligation was not fulfilled.

Professor Drosten was the co-author of the Corman-Drosten paper which first described the RT-PCR test protocol for the SARS-Cov-2 virus. That protocol was quickly adopted by the WHO as their recommended test.

That original paper was critically reviewed in November 2020.

It pretty much goes without saying that if the test is flawed then so is the whole pandemic-lockdown strategy and quite possibly the pandemic itself.

Dr Fuelmich has now taken the next logical step - to demand that Professor Drosten recompenses his client for the damage caused to his business.

He is particularly concerned about the relevance of the PCR test when used as a means of assessing cases in the general population, and for the economic and personal damage caused by lock-downs.

The EHT court case against the FCC - first report from the hearing in Washington DC.

The EHT has published an article including two video reports, one assessing the way that the hearing went, the other an audio recording from the hearing itself.

I found that latter quite revealing - to a laymen such as myself it seems extraordinary that the FCC (which one might have expected to have expertise in telecomms technology) should have relied on the FDA (Federal Food and Drug Administration) to assess the safety of electronic communications radiations. What were they thinking of?

Anyway, enough of my legally unqualified opinions.

I am grateful to Lockdown Sceptics for this link to the PCR Claims site, which is working to establish the legal claims situation, where people and businesses that have incurred damage to their interests due to the unprecedented public restrictions introduced in response to the "pandemic" can submit their evidence of loss to their legal team.

I'm not sure how that works exactly but it looks well worth following up. It's nigh-on impossible to mount a court case against the government as an individual, but as a group - it could be viable. This is an opportunity for "we the people" to hold the government to account.
