Whereas in rare circumstances that rule might be broken, in general it holds. If we don't look after ourselves, we may end up in no position to look after others, and become a burden on others.

This was embedded in military NBC (nuclear chemical biological) training - we were ordered to put on our own gas-masks before helping anybody else. Obvious really, but sometimes the obvious needs stating...

As it is for individuals, so it is for nations.

Have we now reached Peak Confusion?

That state where nobody knows what to believe any more and some are even beginning to believe that "the Truth" is a flexible concept - something that is unique to each of us, that we each project into our "Common Shared Reality" and somehow it all merges into a "Common Shared Truth" that is therefore not fixed until it has happened.

Mystics say that the Universe somehow reflects back our thoughts upon us and that our reality is a shared construct that reflects the sum of all our thoughts and fears...  that indeed we can manipulate our reality, since it is in effect merely a simulation presented to us and we can influence incoming events through our focused intent and beliefs.

Be all that as it may, Ben's report this week strays well beyond our previous hum-drum.

Ian Proud, interviewed by Glenn Diesen, brings up the so far unmentionable topic of the EU's relationship with the Big Bogeyman to the East - yet peace in Ukraine must in the end be dependent upon the West's willingness to make a peaceful accommodation with Russia. So far they have only demonised Russia.

But at least (and at last!) somebody is talking seriously about it. 

The prize for mending fences with Russia (Russian gas powering European manufacturing as it used to, and economic revival) would be immense.

It's product available, initially in the marketplace, and subsequently in our possession.

So if we want to become wealthy, we have to produce product, not manipulate the value of money (unless we're a banker playing zero-sum games with the currency to rip off everyone else).

That doesn't mean that we take no interest in politics however. We just understand that Party Politics is corruptible and almost certainly corrupted, as may be coming much clearer by the day as the Epstein files become more widely known. It's a fair bet that Jimmy Savile, Cyril Smith, Huw Edwards, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor to name but a few were merely the tip of the iceberg now coming into focus.

For a level-headed view of the British political scene, Nick Griffin (of "far right" infamy - the establishment do love their labels, as they like to close down any sensible analysis) is up there among the best-thought-out (in my not so humble opinion). He's a realist, he's done the hard work, he understands the size and scale of the problem, and he doesn't hesitate to draw the realistic conclusions.

It's been a long time since we "woke up" and realised that the world is not the benevolent place that we had assumed it to be, and that our government never worked for us, despite appearances.

In recent years we have also discovered that this isn't a phenomenon local to either time or location - it's global (with possible exceptions probably tucked away in remote locations) and has been going on unrecognised in its vast scope for centuries, possibly for millennia.

Whilst some of us still blithely prefer not to know and to continue to trust the government and its obedient propaganda outlets in the moribund media, the rest of us have been "awake" for varying periods of time, but probably, whilst being aware for yearsof a number of glaring inconsistencies such as the interminable search for the cure for cancer, the majorityonly fully put 2 and 2

Whether we agree with Ben's understandings of individual situations is almost beside the point - whatever the reasons, they are not fit for purpose. And the full extent of the Epstein revelations hasn't yet percolated through to most of the populations...

We have been covering the unfolding silence from the authorities on Operation Talla.

Martin Geddes has documented the silence and apparent evasion of the responsible authorities in his quest to establish the legality of the "court" that fined him under the SJP (Single Justice Procedure) for an alleged motoring offence.

It is clear from the investigations undertaken by Ian Clayton of Ethical Approach UK that the authorities relevant to Operation Talla also have nothing relevant to say in response to his direct enquiries.

To remind our readers, Operation Talla was used by the Police forces across the land to refuse to accept reports from the public alleging instances of harm from the acceptance of the Covid vaccines, despite the Metropolitan Police Service initially issuing a crime number (6029679/21) for investigation.
