A report from Unherd who attended the weekend march in London, and interviewed many of the marchers.

Did it turn violent? Was it a "Hate March"?

Whilst some interviewees were very calm, others were more vehement. But with many in the Middle East reportedly dying daily, what did we expect? 

Racial mix - 5 to 10% white British? And no violence? What does this tell us about our current mix of communities? 

Whilst probably not perfect, this report does seem to capture the main issues as expressed by those marching.

With knee-jerk pronouncements from those who should know better coming thick and fast this Remembrance weekend, we can be sure that the headlines tell us nothing we can trust about the situation on the ground. Even the video footage can be faked, and reportage from those with axes to grind is unlikely to reflect any underlying truth in the round.

Nuanced discussion of  complex situations is notable primarily in its absence, yet an accurate understanding doesn't come naturally from headlines and soundbites (especially given the interests controlling virtually all the western world's media companies).

So we are grateful to Zerohedge for finding and publishing an almost impossibly difficult attempt to sort the narratives into some semblance of logical structure. I've no idea how close they come to the truth, except to say that I have found no better.

Guy de la Bédoyère is my kind of man - Heck, he even grew up on my old stomping ground!

Reading this piece is reliving my own youth - it just needs the scent of steamed syrup pudding and custard to be overwhelming.

I have to admit that having spent much of my adult life looking forward to achievements not yet met, to be dumped back into my childhood and adolescence so unceremoniously is arresting(despite the omission of "Dixon of Dock Green"), and prompts a degree of introspection - what have I done with my life, and what was it all for?

We are grateful for the good folk at Migration Watch UK, still on the job, monitoring the incoming waves of immigration to this sceptred isle.

They reckon that we will have to construct the equivalent of 15 cities the "size of Birmingham" in order to house the numbers expected.

The weasel word here of course is "size" - are they talking surface area, or merely head of population?

It does appear to be true that the BBC coverage is coming under fire from both sides, so are they achieving that elusive "balance" that is said to be the hallmark of their reporting?

My guess is that in wartime, "balance" and "impartiality" are inevitably impossible to achieve for everyone, and reporting of the complex origins of the situation in a succinct but accurate manner almost as difficult, but whether the BBC is actually making a fair attempt may be a question worth asking.

This is as they say "scuttlebutt" - word on the internet street - conspiracy theory on steroids, fit only for nerds who have nothing better to do with their time than scan the usual suspect sites for new mis/dis/information. Yes, guilty as charged.

I don't normally feature videos from this source because, well, you likely have neither the time nor the inclination to sit through it all, and yes, he can be annoyingly slow at getting to the point, and yes, he is mostly of interest to those residing over the pond. He isn't the BBC/CNN etc. He's a bloke who does what he feels led to do.

These are unprecedented times. Some are evidently now realising that they went too far - much too far. Anybody can make a mistake, but who is entitled to force their mistakes on everybody else?

It's a matter of simple logic. Whilst centralised control enforces one bad decision on everybody, distributed control allows others to come to their own conclusions and devise alternative approaches. People notice which approaches work and which don't, and make their choices accordingly.

The centralised top down approach assumes an always-correct infallible central authority, and we know that that is an absurd proposition without precedent in history.

One wouldn't think that it would be necessary to demand due process from a court of law.

When it is, maybe we need to take into account the possibility that it isn't a real court of law, especially when due process is peremptorily denied.

This article (part 4 of the series) follows on from part 3: Martin Geddes' recent "court" appearance on account of his demand for due process in connection with his declining to pay his council tax demand in absence of due process.

How complicated is this really? Just as complicated as they can make it through obfuscations evasions and unwarranted assertions of all kinds, and as perhaps we might imagine, it's the stuff they don't address that matters.

We have been promised a turbulent autumn...  it doesn't come much more turbulent than this.

Who is "the Donald"? On whose team has he been playing? On whose team is he now playing?

If the "Deep State" has been trying to control both sides of the narrative (as is their normal practice), then who is the prime contender for the bogus "good guy" leadership?

There are multiple viewpoints on the Israel-Hamas situation, mostly overwhelmingly in favour of one side or the other. My instincts tell me that such polarity of opinion is unhealthy, and indeed encouraged in order to stoke the "gullible masses" into fighting amongst themselves once more. 

We must resist the temptation. There's enough fighting going on already, cooler heads should prevail.
